The Safe and Sober Impact

In our 16-year quest to prevent substance misuse, we've delivered our Safe and Sober messages to hundreds of thousands of teens throughout Missouri and around the country.

Our goal is to improve the futures for young people, one good decision at a time. Here's how we do it:

  • Impacting Students

We mix real-life stories with evidence-based education on the dangers of alcohol, drugs, impaired driving, and related risky behaviors. Our focus on accountability arms them with the tools they need to make healthy choices..

  • Supporting Educators

Great content - any way you need it. Every school is unique, and our program is designed for maximum flexibility. Whether presenting to the whole school or a single classroom, our programs are adaptable to any learning situation.

  • Helping Parents

From talking points about alcohol and drugs, to recognizing depression or anxiety in teens, our Parent Resources section always features great content. Each tool and article selected addresses specific issues today's parents face.

  • Improving Communities

In addition to partnering with traditional public and private school systems, we provide our no-cost resources to other non-profits and community-based organizations that work with at-risk youth.

Insights

Educators make Safe and Sober happen in our schools, and we couldn't do this without them.

For budget-strapped schools battling substance misuse, keeping kids on-track is an all-hands-on-deck effort. Our school contacts include teachers, counselors, principals, coaches, and resource officers. We're proud to support every individual that works with students to prevent substance misuse.
