About The Program

The mission of Safe and Sober is to prevent substance misuse, with an emphasis on underage drinking and impaired driving. Students watch a video featuring real teens and families designed to show the importance of saying no to substances and making choices that benefit their futures. Students are then given the opportunity to take the Safe and Sober Pledge as an act of accountability.

I pledge to be safe and sober. This means starting today:

I will not drink alcohol until I am at least 21 I will not drink alcohol throughout high school I will never drink and drive I will not use drugs or misuse prescription pills I will not ride with someone who has been drinking or using drugs I will not use tobacco/nicotine, including vaping devices or e-cigarettes I will surround myself with people who want the best for me
